Answer the quiz questions honestly, reveal the correct reasoning, and mark your confidence level. The app will generate a risk score and next action for you. Which tab should I use first?

Start with Lead Time Lessons to understand how to recognize deadline patterns and set realistic lead-time bands. Then use the Deadline Deadline Quiz to assess a real deadline you're facing. Next, use Risk Rubric to score your deadline against specific criteria. The Due Shelf Deck is excellent for quick practice and reinforcement when you have a few minutes.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Deadline Radar requires no account, login, or subscription. The app is completely local and anonymous. All your deadlines, quiz responses, and assessments stay on your device. Simply open the app and start using it immediately. There are no identity requirements, recurring charges, or mandatory sign-ups.

§ FEATURES

What is the Deadline Deadline Quiz and how does it work?

The Deadline Deadline Quiz is our core feature for deadline assessment. It presents scored questions about your deadline, helping you evaluate complexity, urgency, and overall risk. You answer each question, reveal the correct reasoning and context, and mark your confidence level. The app generates a DeadlineRadarResultCard with your score, detailed risk assessment, and personalized next actions for preparation and planning.

How does Risk Rubric help me score my deadline?

Risk Rubric lets you evaluate your deadline systematically against specific criteria including urgency, complexity, resource availability, and dependencies. Assign a score to each criterion based on your situation. The app calculates your overall risk level and stores the assessment in your DeadlineRadarLocalRecord. Over time, you can track how risk changes and compare past assessments to improve your planning and preparation strategy.

What are Due Shelf Deck practice cards for?

The Due Shelf Deck provides quick flashcard-style practice on proven deadline preparation strategies and techniques. Flip through cards anywhere, anytime—no internet required. Each card teaches a practical, actionable technique for managing deadline stress, avoiding procrastination, and planning effectively. Use the Deck to reinforce lessons learned and build confidence between more comprehensive assessment sessions with the Deadline Deadline Quiz.

§ DATA

Where is my data stored?

All your data stays on your device. Your deadlines, quiz answers, risk scores, and lesson progress are stored locally using iOS's encryption. We do not upload your data to any server or cloud service. If you choose to enable iCloud backup in iOS Settings, Apple will encrypt and store a backup—but by default, your data never leaves your phone or device.

Can I export or back up my deadline data?

Yes. You can manually export your DeadlineRadarLocalRecord (deadlines, assessments, and scores) from the app's export menu in a format compatible with spreadsheets and productivity tools. You can also enable iCloud backup in iOS Settings for automatic encrypted backups. Alternatively, use your device's native backup through Finder on macOS or iCloud. You control when, how, and where your data is backed up or exported.

What happens to my data if I uninstall the app?

Your local data will be deleted from your device when you uninstall Deadline Radar. If you enabled iCloud backup, Apple retains an encrypted copy for 30 days. We recommend exporting your important assessments and DeadlineRadarLocalRecord before uninstalling. You can reinstall the app anytime and start fresh. We do not retain any data on our servers after uninstallation.

§ DEBUG

The app crashed or lost my data. How do I recover it?

If the app crashes, your data should persist since it's stored locally. Force-close and reopen the app to check if your data reappears. If data is missing and you had iCloud backup enabled, your latest backup may be restored through iOS Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage. If data is truly lost, check if you exported records previously. Contact us at privacy@deadlineradar.net for recovery assistance.

I'm not getting accurate risk scores. What should I do?

Ensure you're answering the Deadline Deadline Quiz questions honestly and thoughtfully—risk scores are only as accurate as the information you provide. Review your answers in the DeadlineRadarResultCard and compare them to actual deadline outcomes. Calibrate your future answers based on real results to improve accuracy over time. You can retake the quiz for any deadline as many times as needed to refine your assessment skills.

The app runs slowly or feels unresponsive.

Try clearing your device's app cache: go to iOS Settings > General > iPhone Storage, find Deadline Radar, and tap Offload App (keeps your data intact). Then reinstall from the App Store. Ensure your device has at least 500 MB free storage and iOS is updated to the latest version. You can also manually export and delete old DeadlineRadarLocalRecord entries to free up storage space and improve performance.
